IN SICKNESS and IN HEALTH

It's Thursday, 4/17, and an unusual day. The photo highlights don't exactly depict the historic neighborhoods of Charleston, SC. We arrived after midnight with Tim not feeling so good. He was up all night with fever, chills, nausea and an achey-breaky heart because he didn't have the strength to leave the room today.

The lady at the desk said the grocery store was "just over the bridge." Four miles later (on foot), I arrived on James Island and not only was there a grocery store but a Marble Slab Creamery (comfort food) ! On my trek back with dinner and a new pair of double layer no-blister socks, I did get a great photo of Charleston City from the summit of the bridge.

Candles helped create a relaxing ambience with our dinner of chicken broth, crackers, Tylenol and diet Coke. Tim is a survivor and feeling much better now. We plan to stay in Charleston another day to see the real historic sites.
