THE HORSE WHISPERER

Tues, 5/6. Ms. Garmin has indicated there is a Dunkin Donuts (DD) in Farmington, the hub of the Four Corners. So off we go 160W to 550S admiring the vast green farmland spotted with horses and cows. Farmington and San Juan Co are located in northwest NM where there are sunny skies and a high desert climate, surrounded by various Indian tribes living on 17 million acres of land.

COULD THAT BE? A DD? (we haven't had a DD coffee since MD)
Tim has been known to do some strange off-the-wall antics, but this??..............

Box of Joe for the road?
Luis and Mimi bought their CO property from Bob and Gywneth Browning who own a ranch in Farmington. Bob is known as the area's "horse whisperer" and routinely boards and tames wild mustangs. They have a network of other trained and exotic animals on their ranch such as llammas, ostriches, ducks, geese, goats, and longhorn steer used for pet therapy for problem children. There's baby "dolly" llamma....

Our afternoon visit with the Brownings was delightful and between all of us, many stories of humanity were told. Gywneth's homemade vegetable and beef soup and cornbread was scrumptious. Apple pie and whipped creme for dessert! Goodbye Gywneth and Bob and thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

What's blue, red and yellow.. and lighter than a feather? Stay tuned for tomorrow, Wed.
